Licensing Specialist - AG Properties

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General administrative support (i.e. scanning, filing, schedule meetings, update logs and licensee lists, monthly/weekly summaries, contract and financial queries, assist with presentations, category/country analysis etc.) for Domestic and International licensing department. 
2. Responsible for routing deal memos for approval, tracking contract drafts and updating deal sheet tracking logs on a regular basis. 
3. Follow up with Domestic Licensees and International Agents regarding contract expirations and renewals. 
4. Liaise with legal team on the status of contract drafts and fully executed agreements. 
5. Responsible for drafting monthly global licensing sales recaps. 
6. Create, update and maintain sales presentations. 
7. Attend sales meetings, as requested. 
8. Liaison with Marketing Team and Licensing for drafting press releases and general PR needs. 
9. Research projects and licensing categories, as requested. 
10. Assist in trade show preparation and travel arrangements. 
11. Workload configuration - 50% Domestic and 50% International Licensing 
 

 

Experience Required:
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in administrative/supportive role. 
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 
• Must have strong follow-up, organizational and time management skills. 
• Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop software a plus. 
• Fluent in foreign language a plus. 
• Team player, excellent work ethic, positive attitude and resourceful. 

Education Required:
• 4-year college degree strongly preferred.

Associate Producer/Game Designer - HITN

Seeking:  Associate Producer/Game Designer  that has a passion for children’s educational media and exposure working with programs around Early Learning Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

-Participate in all creative/content/story game/transmedia development meetings

-Manage all content and development assets

-Work closely with Education Research team to insure that all goals are being met within games

-Write and storyboard game design documents and gamimg scripts as needed

-Track and distribute all changes during development and production on assigned projects

-Maintain and distribute all completed development documents, stories & scripts

-Follow all development materials through production

-Coordinate development schedule and deliverables with team and Project Manager

-Keep all project documentation current.

-Review and update trends related to pre-school educational games

-Build competitive app library

-Assist with content and production continuity

-Assist with QA review as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

-Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred

-Minimum 3+ year’s exp.in digital media production especially with in educational web and mobile game development

-Previous experience in educational media and Early Learning Curriculum preferred

-Experience in working with Character brands

-Experience in writing game design documents, storyboarding and gaming scripts

-Understanding of game analytics

-Understanding of game leveling and scaffolding

-Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, iOS, and Android platforms

-Experience with Photoshop or Illustrator

-Experience with Indesign a plus

-Experience making prototype games a plus

Freelance Game Designer - HITN

OVERVIEW:

The Game Designer will work on a range of productions within the organization. The main function of this position is to find the learning and fun in all of our interactive experiences. In addition to iterative development the position will support the ELC in multiple facets of game development and strategic planning. The position requires experience in game development and a demonstration of analytical skills and game operations, and moreover a strong interest in child development and games for learning. Candidates should be able to provide example(s) of projects authored.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

-Conceptualize and guide mobile games for 2-5 year olds

-Work as part of a team to rapidly design and possibly prototype new game concepts

-Help improve and increase our body of ELC Games

-Participate in creative/content/story game/transmedia development meetings

-Iterate and improve games based on user testing and analytics

DESIRED SKILLS:

-Ability to make educational and fun games – an innate sense for learning and fun

-Ability to be self-directed and comfortable in the creative process
