Sesame Workshop is producing an interactive comprehensive English language learning series for 3-18 year olds. We are looking for an amazing Design Intern to join our small team in developing exciting and innovative ELL content.
 
We are a passionate team committed to making English language learning fun and effective for kids. In this interactive offering, we are placing great emphasis on interactive games and animations that will help reinforce language concepts and inspire kids to learn on any platform that is available to them. 
 
Strong artistic skills, with the ability to work within a multitude of styles, are a must. The ideal candidate has experience with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Flash, and a working knowledge of HTML would be a significant plus. Tasks will include assisting in the development and production of art/animation assets and general administrative support. Successful candidates must be detail-oriented. Receiving school credit for this internship is optional.
 
Work Schedule: Four to five days a week from 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM.  Preference will be given to students able to commit to a full-time, five day per week schedule.  This is a paid position, with a rate of $8.75 per hour.

We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working intern with an interest in multi-media production and English-as-a-foreign language education. Tasks will include assisting in content research, participating in the development & production of curricular materials, and general administrative support. 
 
Successful candidates must currently be matriculated students with strong writing, organization, and production skills.  They should ideally be studying film, production, creative/dramatic writing, English, journalism, or related fields.  They should also be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills. They must also have writing and copyediting experience.  Technical software skills are a plus.  
 
Work Schedule: Four to five days a week from 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM.  Preference will be given to students able to commit to a full-time, five day per week schedule.  This is a paid position, with a rate of $8.75 per hour.

We are looking for an amazing Technical Intern to join our 
passionate team in developing exciting and innovative ELL content. 
 
Overview
 
The technical intern will work alongside our HTML5 web application / game developer and will assist him in all the day-to-day processes starting from the receiving / integration of media assets from our internal team, to the refactoring and commenting of the final source code. We are looking for a hard-working, professional developer with a passion for interactive media and an eye for detail.
 
Requirements
 
The technical intern should have a solid grasp of both HTML and CSS, as well as an advanced understanding of object-oriented JavaScript. He or she should be familiar with the process of creating cross-platform multimedia web applications and be capable of adding custom interactions to these applications with JavaScript. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with a variety of features typically used in children’s media (sprite animations, drag & drop, press & repeat, etc.). Experience in HTML5 game development, especially with the CreateJS suite, is a plus.
 
Responsibilities 
 
These include, but may not be limited to the following:
 Assisting in the creation of interactive HTML5 web applications 
 
 Collaborating with our internal team of animators, designers, writers, audio & video 
 
technicians 
 
 Repurposing code from our existing applications
 
 Updating and refactoring our existing codebase 
 
 Testing our applications on a variety of platforms
 
 Managing and organizing media assets and generating sprite sheets
